Welcome Students and Parents!

Parent Teacher Conferences will take place on Tuesday, October 18th. If you haven't already scheduled or met with Mrs. Nakdimen, please call the school or e-mail to make an appointment.

 The Spelling words are listed under Spelling Lists in the sidebar. The weekly Reading Vocabulary words are also now listed in the sidebar.

Click on the links in the sidebar to the right to go to various pages in our wiki. Student accounts are activated. Students have writer privileges for the Wiki Etiquette page and the Sandbox. 

The first thing you can do with your child is visit the Wiki Etiquette page and have your child complete the first assignment. This will let me know who has parent permission to use the Wiki. Once your child has done this I will give them writer privileges to work on their own personal blog. This would be a great enrichment activity for you to do with your child at home. They might write a nightly journal, share a poem, or tell us about an exciting book they are reading! Have fun!

The Sandbox is a page where students can practice editing theWiki. It will be a joint effort sharing place. Again, I'm not sure how much time I will be able to dedicate to student use in class, but if you spend time orienting your child at home, it could be an extra activity where they could use the class computer when they have completed assignments.
